On San Malvino, lunch hour means Santiago’s food truck, his loud grandma's, and the entire beachfront shutting down at once. Everyone assumes nothing happens, while they're at lunch. When the SCUBA instructor is found dead inside the compressor room of a small beachside dive shop, the timing alone raises questions.

Everyone was out in the open. No one heard anything. And no one can quite agree on why the instructor was even there.

The tight-knit world of dive shops, instructors, and clients suddenly feels a lot less friendly than it seems from outside. Stories don’t line up. Tempers flare.
