Discovered on Easter: An Easter Cozy Mystery
About Discovered on Easter: An Easter Cozy Mystery
Jane planned a murder mystery dinner. Someone else had the same idea. With a baby on the way and family flying in from across the country, Jane Daniels throws herself into planning the Easter celebration of a lifetime — a murder mystery dinner party, complete with clues hidden around the house, a life-like prop body in the garden shed, and her famous slow-roasted lamb.
She didn't account for a real body turning up in the shed. When a bone-chilling scream from the garden sends Detective Gottfried outside to investigate, the evening takes a sharp turn. Jane's beloved neighbour is dead — stabbed in the shed between the wheelbarrow and her murder mystery prop — and every person in the house is now a suspect.
With their family and friends confined indoors and questioned by the police, Jane and Kennedy have to work fast. Someone deliberately chose their home as a crime scene. Someone wanted them to take the blame.
And somewhere among the Easter egg clues and leftover carrot cake, the truth is hiding. But as Braxton-Hicks contractions begin and the forensic team descends on their garden, Jane has a more pressing concern — and the most important mystery in her life has nothing to do with crime.
