About Haunt Pursuit: A Cozy Mystery with a Ghostly Twist

Books don't kill people. But apparently the people fighting over them does. Everly Dupree is having a genuinely decent week.

The library fundraiser is on track, her cousin Nell is in town for a visit, and the only drama so far involves a keynote crime author with an oversized ego. That streak ends fast. Nell has picked up a side job appraising a late English teacher's private book collection—and the books turn out to be worth far more than anyone let on.

Before long, a man turns up dead behind the Marlow Inn, and then another body drops somewhere much closer to home. Everly is no stranger to murder. She'd still really prefer it stay out of library fundraisers.

But with a killer still loose in Mooselick River and Nell square in the middle of it, Everly doesn't have the luxury of sitting this one out. Now she's juggling a rare books black market she didn't ask to know about, a cousin who keeps almost getting killed, and a whole crowd of ghosts with opinions—while trying to keep the event from becoming a complete disaster. If she can't figure out who's behind this before the fundraiser ends, the killer walks away clean.

And Everly really hates loose ends. A snarky, small-town paranormal mystery filled with found family, ghostly interference, and a heroine who just wanted one normal week.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Book 16 and somehow still my favorite."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "The rare books twist was absolute genius."
