Technology – can’t live with it…Might die without it. Dogwood Donuts owner and amateur sleuth, Maggie Mission, is excited about starting a new line of made-to-order gourmet donut desserts, but before she can launch her new idea, the computer systems at all three of her locations mysteriously shut down. Her employee Zeke is dating a computer whiz, Tara, who thinks that someone hacked the system looking for financial information.

Maggie is ready to throw in the towel and replace the computers with old school cash registers and ledgers, but Tara offers to help. Things go from bad to worse when Maggie brings in her own hackers to fix the problem and one of them ends up dead. It’s up to Maggie to figure out who is sabotaging her systems and demanding a ransom to fix them.
