Librarian by day, and ghost tour guide by night, Rip is ready to take on the ghosts following her around and the mysterious residents who show up for more than the tour in the Devil’s Moon Cemetery. Her first day on the job as librarian, Ripley finds a dead body and a ghost who can only communicate through electronics. Who knew ghosts could send text messages?

To make things even more complicated, Ripley meets a hot cop who happens to also be a ghost hunter. When Rip discovers threatening notes between the pages of a novel, she must solve the library patron’s mysterious death before she unwillingly joins the other side of her haunted tour.

A Walk on the Haunted Side Rip, as her friends call her, guides people on a haunted tour through her hometown of Devil's Moon, Kentucky. Ripley is also a librarian. That’s where the books come in.

When a author comes to town for a book signing, he’s interested in seeing some of the spookier sides of Devil’s Moon. Ripley takes him to a haunted house that’s rumored to be haunted by a woman who places a curse on anyone who has the misfortune of walking through the door. When the author turns up dead, Ripley must find out if it was the curse that killed him, or a real murderer.

At least she has the help of hunky Brannon Landon, paranormal investigator and police officer. The paranormal forces are much darker than Ripley ever imagined. Now Ripley must find the killer before she becomes a permanent resident of the Devil’s Moon Cemetery.

Spirits aren't only there at night. During the day, as head librarian, Ripley chats with the ghost of the town’s former librarian via text and social media. When a team of film makers want to include Ripley's tour in their documentary she agrees.

It sounds like a great way to promote her tour. No sooner does the camera stop rolling when one of the crew members is murdered. Sinister spirits have potentially attached to Ripley’s boyfriend Officer Brannon Landon and now she has to find out if there's a connection to the murder before the final chapter of her book ends for good.

When strange things occur at the library, Ripley believes the book could be the cause. During one of her haunted tours, a murder victim is discovered. That's not Ripley's only problem.

Someone is trying to take over her haunted tour. Is the competition related to the murder? Perhaps the old diary holds the answer.
