Retired nurse and part-time spy Evelyn Chambers is sent to Turkey with a clear assignment: help extract an American engineer who can no longer leave the country safely. Chris Weldon has built a life in Istanbul, but leaving it behind will take more than a plane ticket and a passport. To complicate matters, the information he has makes a quiet departure even more urgent.

To get him out, Evelyn and her fiancé, Roger Reed, must move him quietly across Turkey, staying one step ahead of anyone who may be watching.
